Did you ever figure this out? I have not been able to.
mujtaba.khokhar
Have you tired the lutron homeworks QS fan driver? Im sure that’s the one I used previously Also check your id number is correct & the fan is on a fan module? Not a normal switching module? Otherwise you won’t be able to control the speed. Just on and off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is there feedback from the fan via this driver?
Yes there is, but you have to be using the fan Lutron module for it to work properly.

How are you typically programming ceiling fan speeds? I was going to try using a 5-step manual sequence with each step a different speed and off (LED on for all speeds and LED off for off). I can only use 1 or 2 buttons per room. So my "Ceiling Fan" button will start/next the sequence and my "Room Off" button will go to step5(off) of the sequence. I can't test until next week onsite, but since it's a plane flight away and I'm only there a couple of days and there are 18 fans I thought I'd check in for other ideas first....

I can't test until next week onsite, but since it's a plane flight away and I'm only there a couple of days and there are 18 fans I thought I'd check in for other ideas first.... Yours is a good solution. Our baseline is one button with a manual sequence also, 3 step> Medium/High>Low>Off - 5 is a lot of steps. We put the Fan Off under the room off 'hold' function along with the room lighting in locals where leaving windows open and fans running for ventilation is common when the room is unoccupied and unlit
So I'm trying this now and the control function is working but the LED isn't going off when the fan goes off on step5 (Status LED is set to OFF). I followed your advice with the hold function for the room off button by going to step5 in the sequence and the fan goes off but the LED on the CeilingFan button doesn't go off. Any tricks I'm missing? thanks

Is the sequence automatic with tracking? Is the LED logic of the button "Defined by Sequence?" For further assistance with this program, could you post the project file to this post and provide us the location/name of the keypad and button being used?

What fans can I control with the PD-FSQN?
Before you start.

Installation Scenarios
A single fan without a light attached.
This is the standard application for this product and you can follow the instructions in this Installation Guide .
A single fan with a light attached and a single control on the wall
This PD-FSQN will only control the fan, not the lighting load.
- If the old control has a separate wire for controlling the fan and a separate wire for controlling the light, you will need an additional light switch or dimmer to control the light (Ex. PD-6WCL)
- If the old control has a single wire for controlling the fan and the light, this control will not work.
- If the old control has a single wire but only controls the fan and NOT the light, you can replace your old fan control with the Caséta Fan Control.
A single fan with a light attached and two controls on the wall (One for Fan Speed, one for the light)
- You can replace the fan control with the PD-FSQN and can continue to use the light switch separately.
Use Common Features
- You can control this product wirelessly using a Pico remote (Ex. PJ2-3BRL-GWH-F01)
- You can save your favorite fan speed by first setting the fan to the desired speed then pressing and holding the middle button for 10 seconds until the LED blinks.

Christopher Homeworks Redwood City
Christopher homeworks reviews 1 out of 5 stars, based on 1 review.
We are very unhappy with Christopher Homeworks work. I would never recommend him as a contractor. He delayed the project as much as possible, a lot of work was done sloppy. He was always away from the site and whenever I came, his workers would call him and he would suddenly appear on site or call me on the phone to let me know that he is "buying building materials". His workers (not subs but his employees) are deliberately very slow. We are now redoing a lot of what he has done. We now have major issues with the balcony that he constructed (as part of the big house project).

Christopher Homeworks Employees
In California, any remodeling or construction project that exceeds $500 (labor and materials), requires a contractor to have an active license with the California Contractor State License Board (CSLB).
Christopher Homeworks currently holds license 821365 (General Building), which was Active when we last checked.
The CSLB is one of the highest rated licensing boards in the US. Applicants are required to pass a written board exam and prove at least four years of prior, relevant work experience. In addition, the CSLB requires all license holders to maintain at least $2,500 in operating capital and provides you with a range of other consumer protections.
Contractors in California are required to carry workers' compensation insurance if they have employees and proof of liability insurance with the cumulative limit of $1 million for licensees with five or fewer persons, and an additional 100,000 for each additional member over five, not to exceed $5 million total.
All licensed contractors in California are required to maintain a bond, which provides you with financial recourse in case they perform defective work or violate license regulations. If you feel as though you have been taken advantage of, you should leave feedback on the contractor's BuildZoom profile and file a complaint with the CSLB.
Christopher Homeworks has a $15,000 bond with American Contractors Indemnity Company.
California contractors are required to submit their fingerprints to the board, which are then checked against criminal records held by the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) prior to obtaining a valid contracting license.
The BuildZoom score is based on a number of factors including the contractor's license status, insurance status, verified work history, standing with local consumer interest groups, verified reviews from other BuildZoom users and self-reported feedback from the contractor.
When it comes to major construction work or even minor alterations to your home, hiring the wrong contractor could result in incomplete or defective work. You may even find yourself dealing with huge liability claims. BuildZoom does the homework for you and helps you hire the right contractor.
The California State License Board recommends getting at least three written bids before hiring a contractor. Do not automatically accept the lowest bid - an abnormally low bid may indicate the contractor made a mistake and is not including the same work quoted by their competitors. We've made the bid collection process extremely simple (and free). Just click here to get started.
